Localtone Radio™
Established by Localtone Systems Co-Founder, Justin Grammens, Localtone Radio was launched in September 2007 and is based in Minneapolis, MN.
The lifeblood of Localtone Radio is its users. Through listener contributed content the stream is constantly updated and growing. The users of Localtone Radio can rate the audio that is played. Those "votes" determine the frequency in which the audio is played. This gives the Localtone Radio users direct control of the audio they hear.
Targeted to the local community, Localtone Radio provides all the benefits of the World Wide Web on a local level. Users in the city that their Localtone Radio is based have access to the music and audio that is being produced in their hometown, information on where artists can be heard, as well as information about those artists through available features such as blogs and podcasts. In addition, as more Localtone "stations" launch and the Localtone Network expands, any city's music and entertainment scene is accessible world wide.
Localtone Radio is available for your hometown. Each station is hosted and maintained by Localtone Systems in a secure and redundant world class data center.
